Introduction

Pepsin (CAS: 9001-75-6) is a potent proteolytic enzyme naturally secreted by the gastric glands. It is one of the main digestive enzymes in the digestive system of humans and many other animals, where it helps digest the proteins in food.
Our Pepsin is isolated from the gastric mucosa of pigs (Porcine) under strict sanitary conditions. Method of Analysis of Lactoferrin
Test Method: USP / NF Activity Assay
• Procedure: Determines the digestive power of the enzyme by digesting a standard substrate (coagulated egg albumin or hemoglobin) under controlled acidic conditions.
