Resveratrol
Trans-Resveratrol Manufacturer | 99% Natural Purity (CAS: 501-36-0) Headline: Trans-Resveratrol Powder Manufacturer | The "Longevity Molecule" (CAS: 501-36-0) Sub-info: Assay ≥ 99.0% (HPLC) | Extracted from Polygonum cuspidatum or Grape Skin | Emodin < 1 ppm. USP: • High Potency Trans-Isomer: We supply the bioactive Trans-Resveratrol form, which is significantly more stable and effective than the Cis-form. • Clean Label: Natural extraction, Free from PAHs (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons), and low Emodin content to prevent laxative side effects. • Micronized Option: Available in micronized powder (< 5 microns) for superior absorption in capsules and cosmetics.
Introduction

Resveratrol (CAS: 501-36-0) is a polyphenolic phytoalexin produced by plants in response to stress. It is widely known as the active compound in Red Wine responsible for the "French Paradox."
While it can be found in grapes, commercial-scale production of high-purity Natural Resveratrol (98%-99%) is primarily derived from the dried roots of Giant Knotweed (Polygonum cuspidatum). We utilize advanced extraction and purification technologies to isolate the Trans-Resveratrol isomer, ensuring maximum potency for the Dietary Supplement and Anti-Aging Cosmetic industries. We also offer Fermentation-Derived Resveratrol for clients requiring specific supply chain preferences.

Functions
1.Anti-Aging & Sirtuin Activation
Resveratrol is a potent activator of SIRT1 (Sirtuin 1), the "longevity gene." By mimicking the effects of caloric restriction, it promotes cellular repair, improves mitochondrial function, and may extend healthy lifespan.
2.Cardiovascular Health
It supports heart health by protecting the endothelium (blood vessel lining), reducing LDL oxidation, and inhibiting platelet aggregation. This improves blood circulation and helps maintain healthy blood pressure levels.
3.Cognitive Support (Nootropic)
Research suggests Resveratrol increases cerebral blood flow and reduces neuroinflammation, potentially protecting against age-related cognitive decline and supporting memory function.

Applications
1.Anti-Aging Supplements (NMN's Partner)
• Usage: Often combined with NMN or NR (NAD+ boosters).
• Benefit: Synergistic effect; Resveratrol activates Sirtuins while NMN provides the NAD+ fuel, creating a comprehensive longevity formula.
2.Cosmetics & Skincare
• Usage: Anti-wrinkle creams, Brightening serums.
• Benefit: Scavenges free radicals (ROS) and inhibits tyrosinase (whitening effect). Its antioxidant power is 17 times greater than Idebenone.
3.Functional Foods
• Usage: Cardiovascular support beverages, Chocolate fortification.
• Benefit: Stable in solid matrices; provides a "Red Wine Extract" health halo.

Method of Analysis of Lactoferrin
HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography)
• Why: To ensure we are selling the bioactive Trans-form. The HPLC method clearly separates the Trans peak from the less active Cis peak and impurities like Polydatin and Emodin.
Reference Chromatogram of Lactoferrin Reference Substance
The HPLC chromatogram shows a dominant, sharp peak for Trans-Resveratrol at the specific retention time. The baseline is clean, indicating the absence of solvent residues and derivative impurities.
Stability and Safety
Stability Studies
• Light Sensitivity: Trans-Resveratrol is photosensitive and can convert to the inactive Cis-form under UV light.
• Storage: Must be stored in light-resistant containers (Aluminum foil bags or fiber drums) in a cool, dark place.
• Shelf Life: 24 months when stored properly.
Safety & Handling (MSDS Summary)
• Classification: Non-hazardous substance.
• Safety: Safe for consumption. Low toxicity.
• Handling: Avoid dust inhalation.
• Storage: Keep container tightly closed. Protect from light and moisture.

FAQ
What is the difference between Trans-Resveratrol and Cis-Resveratrol?
Trans-Resveratrol is the stable, bioactive form found in nature and used in supplements. Cis-Resveratrol is unstable and has much lower biological activity. Our product is standardized to contain >98% Trans-Resveratrol.
Is your Resveratrol from Grapes or Knotweed?
Our standard bulk powder (98%-99%) is extracted from Giant Knotweed (Polygonum cuspidatum). This source allows for higher purity and cost-effectiveness compared to Grape extract (which usually contains only 5-10% Resveratrol).
Does it contain Emodin?
Knotweed naturally contains Emodin (a natural laxative). Through our advanced purification process, we remove Emodin to < 1 ppm (or non-detectable levels) to ensure no gastrointestinal side effects.
