Introduction

Phosphatidylserine (PS) is a phospholipid nutrient derived from natural soybean lecithin or sunflower seeds via advanced enzymatic hydrolysis. Dubbed "Brain Gold" in industry circles, it is the only phospholipid that can regulate the functional status of key proteins in cell membranes.
As a critical component of neural cell membranes, PS is capable of crossing the blood-brain barrier to directly nourish brain cells. To cater to diverse formulation requirements across the global market, we offer two variants: Soy-Derived PS (Classic Version) and Sunflower-Derived PS (Allergen-Free Version).

Functions
1.Cognitive Enhancement (Memory & Focus)
PS plays a vital role in maintaining cellular fluidity within the brain. It promotes the release of neurotransmitters (such as Acetylcholine and Dopamine) and facilitates synaptic transmission. Clinical trials have demonstrated that a daily intake of 300mg can enhance memory recall and concentration in both student populations and the elderly.

2.Stress Relief & Cortisol Regulation
By mitigating the release of cortisol (the primary stress hormone) triggered by physical or mental stress, PS helps alleviate fatigue and reduce anxiety. This makes it a sought-after ingredient in stress-relief supplements and sports recovery formulations.

3.Supporting Children with ADHD
Research suggests that PS supplementation can improve attention span and reduce behavioral symptoms in children with ADHD by stabilizing neural activity in the prefrontal cortex.
Applications
Dietary Supplements
• Brain Health Tablets: Frequently combined with DHA, Ginkgo Biloba, or Bacopa to deliver comprehensive cognitive support.
• Sleep Aids: Works synergistically with Melatonin or Magnesium to address sleep issues associated with cortisol imbalance.
Functional Foods
• Infant Formula: Fortified with PS to support early-stage brain development.
• Smart Beverages: Water-dispersible grades are available for use in energy drinks and focus-enhancing beverages.
Sports Nutrition
• Recovery Powders: Helps reduce muscle soreness and mitigate exercise-induced stress.

FAQ
Why choose Sunflower PS over Soybean PS?
Soybean PS is the traditional, cost-effective choice. However, Sunflower PS is 100% Non-GMO and Allergen-Free (No Soy). It is ideal for "Clean Label" products and consumers with soy allergies.
What is the recommended dosage?
Clinical studies typically use 100mg to 300mg of pure PS per day. For a 50% powder, this means formulating 200mg-600mg of raw material.
Can it be used in gummies?
Yes. However, phospholipids can affect texture. We recommend adding it at the end of the cooking process to avoid high heat exposure (which can degrade the lipids) and using masking flavors if using high dosages.
